I must admit as someone who loves games like this. I struggled quite hard between who i liked most. For me its a battle between the Edmund, Miquel and Frankieand trust and believe i still cant choose.. i've been following the development of this game for a while,and was super excited for its release. i bought it the moment i saw it was available and spent the better part of the day cozied up in a blanket playing through my first run. did it meet my expectations? absolutely. in fact,it doubled them. this game has a great story, lovely art, characters that i found myself growing to love very deeply as i played, and a great mix of romance, humor and more dramatic, sadder tones.i highly recommend you give animal lover a try,i'm sure it'll pass your expectations as well~ <3now if you'll excuse me..i'm going to go play through my second run of this lovely game.. I have completed one route in this game and I am completely hooked so far.Pros+Art style+I found the default background music to be relaxing+Enjoyable humor+Realistic interactions between characters+Main character isn't a pushover+Light on the romance (which I actually appreciated since so many otome games throw you into "love at first sight" situations which feel unrealistic)+Complex and interesting charactersCons-No gallery-Strong language (I don't mind, but I think it's worth mentioning). I love the writing (oh, 21st century problems at their best) and the characters - there should be more guys like them in those kind of games. All of them are worth playing another route. I only went with Frankie by now but I'm definitely going to play it again soon. Or maybe I'm stuck forever with Frankie's route. Huh.Oh, and the Fruits Basket reference. I laughed so hard sitting alone in my room xD Thank you guys for this great game!. Surprisingly not as cheesy as I thought it would be? Also main protagonist is very strong willed and definitely not soft spoken... which is freaking nice for a change. Anyway I enjoyed it :D. I was looking froward to this game for awhile.Now I'm not sure what to say about this game, I quite liked a lot about it and did enjoy playing it.However the message of the game is a bit iffy, and I wasn't sure what exactly the developers intent was.I think the antagonist was by far the best character, but all the characters in this game are actually terrible people.There were a few times I felt uncomfortable about choices I had to make, and afterwards I just felt disappointed.As I said, there were things I did enjoy so overall I don't think it's a bad game.
